Planty of Flavor is a Black and Woman owned business specialized in consulting and event planning for plant-based products with a primary focus on food. Founded in 2022, we seek to curate experiences grounded in our 3 pillars: Community, Diversity, and Sustainability.
If there is one thing that brings people together no matter our differences, it’s food. Our curated experiences seek to cultivate community amongst the people and with the people.
There are a variety and countless number of plant-based products. Planty of Flavor is “Where plants and flavor intersect.” We seek to highlight the diversity in flavors across foods and the people who grow, make, and create the foods and products.
We seek to reduce the impact of wasted foods and nondegradable products by curating experiences in spaces that value rescuing food, composting, and recycling.
Shameka is the Founder of Planty of Flavor. With over 10 years of event planning experience, Shameka founded Planty of Flavor in 2022. Diversity and community are at the core of Shameka’s work ethic. A foodie at heart, Shameka created Planty of Flavor to bring vibrancy and flavor to the plant-based industry through the curation of experiences that cultivate community, value diversity, and create sustainability.
